Following his whimsical debut poetry book "Overcast Back Talk", Toronto-based independent poet Nat Bourgon returns with "Fortitude Transplants", a collection of 19 new thematically connected poems that further reveal the unique and creative spirit of its author. "Fortitude Transplants" is a personal journey that inspires and empowers.

From the author's perspective:
"I was wishing that whenever we needed some strength in our lives, we could have strength surgery as a medical procedure. I was wishing that strength could be inserted into our souls by a doctor, like we can have an organ or tissue inserted when we are deficient in that organ or tissue (ie- a heart transplant). Then, I realized I'm an imaginative person, a creator. So I stopped wishing and started writing. Each poem included in "Fortitude Transplants" is a strength surgery of words. Each poem is an insertion of soul tissue written to strengthen my own being and capacities, and to nourish, self-motivate and energize my search for romantic love."
